How can I get a qualification in Electronic Engineering at CIT?
At CIT we offer a single path to a qualification in
Electronic Engineering but with 2 different entry
categories. Those who apply with a pass Leaving
Certificate can register for the:
Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering, CAO Code: CR061.
The minimum entry requirement is a Leaving
Certificate Grade D3 in five subjects at Ordinary Level.
One of the subjects must be Mathematics. One of the
other subjects must be either English or Irish.
Applicants with 2 honours in their Leaving Certificate can register for the
Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electronic Systems Engineering CAO Code: CR590.
The minimum entry requirement for this course is a Leaving
Certificate in six subjects with at least two of the six
subjects at Higher Level C3 grade. The six subjects must
include Mathematics and either Irish or English or
both.
Note: An honour in Higher Level Maths is not required.
